Scotland goalkeeper Gunn trains with PFA amid club search

Angus Gunn says training with the PFA's free agent squad is "definitely beneficial" as the Scotland goalkeeper looks for a new club. The 29-year-old was released by Norwich City this summer and has been linked with clubs in Turkey and Saudi Arabia. Advertisement Gunn is among 38 out-of-contract players taking part in the PFA pre-season training camp this week. "Being out of contract this time of year, all the players are getting back to pre-season and this gives us the same opportunity to do that and get the fitness in so we're ready to go for wherever it will be," said Gunn. "A lot of the teams go away and have a camp together, this is no different. You've got all the facilities here at Champneys. A good pitch, quality coaches and staff around - if anything it's even better. "It's a great place to come, everyone is in the same position, so it's good to speak to the other lads and the staff. "It's a little bit different than training on your own. It's definitely beneficial and gives you a good platform to go into pre-season somewhere."
